Ugly news flash:
Only 4% of people take surveys.
And without fail, among that 4%, I guarantee you’ll find a friend or family member.
They fill out our surveys because they love us.
But rarely, RARELY are they our target customer.
So… just starting out?
Nix the customer survey.
And start those customer interviews!
Pinpoint who your target customers are.
Ask them to sit down with you.
And explore the problem space from your customer’s viewpoint.
After you’ve conducted interviews, you’ll be able to craft better survey questions.
Survey questions should SCALE your insights, not be the first insights you collect.
